outlandish ridiculousness

As the centerpiece of its Downtown Burj Dubai development, we have this.

The fountains, which has yet to be named, will be capable of shooting water over 450 feet into the air - the height of a 50-story building - and stretch over the length of two football fields.

coney island is a trip, y’all.
i didn’t quite understand what i was dealing with until we saw a certain type of high-class individual inviting people to Shoot the Freak.
Step right up and shoot at the Real Live Human Target.
And the 10 year old boys (and girls) are lining up with their 2 dollars in hand to pick up this crazy looking machine-gun-style-shit and literally aim and fire at the shirtless 17 year old holding a budget-ass wood shield and cargo pants. in an “alley” made to look like a junkyard. in the middle of the boardwalk. right next to cotton candy and frozen mai-tai’s.
insane.

Sgt. Bad Attitude Baracus
“Mr. T is well-known for his distinctive mohawk hairstyle, for wearing large amounts of gold jewelry, and for his tough guy image.”
Lesser known facts include his born-again christian ways, his huge support for hurricane katrina victims, and his decision to stop wearing his signature gold chains after seeing the effects of the hurricane.
the wild world of mr. t might be a recurring feature.

created by a NYU student in early April, this piece had the internet in a tizzy back in April.
the work—spotted on east 9th street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue—has since been removed…but not before some doofus tagged it up, asshole style.
