so apparently, mayor bloomberg — a fan of the brand best known for tubs of shiny lip gloss and overpriced lovely products — declared today kiehl’s day in 2003.
wierd.
something about peter stuyvesant’s farm in 1647 and a pear tree in the location of the current third avenue store… i dunno.
