This article touches on something SO crazy/interesting/disturbing: Honey Laundering. The dude in the article basically got busted by armed feds for laundering tainted honey and selling it as his own. There is TONS of “honey” coming from places like China that is either not really honey at all or honey-like product contaminated with chemicals and/or antibiotics. Just buy the local stuff, please. Here is an example of a good local honey, and my fave.
